Emma Summerton is an Australian-born fashion photographer. After graduating from the National Art School in Sydney with a degree in Fine Arts, she went on to work as a photographic assistant for 5 years.In 1998, Emma relocated to London where she assisted artist Fiona Banners and collaborated on numerous photographic projects. 

Today Emma is based between London and New York working as a fulltime Fashion photographer. Some of Emma’s editorial clients include Vogue (Australian, German, American, British and Italian), i-D, 10 Magazine, Self Service, Dazed & Confused and Nylon.

Emma has also produced commercial fashion photography for names such as Yves Saint Laurent, Miu Miu, Strenesse, Top Shop, Agent Provocateur and Self Fridges.

She calls magazines such as British Vogue, Italian Vogue and i-D some of her frequent clients.
