How are you Bec?
Well thanks imogen
Have you always been creative? Did you think you would be where you are now when you were younger?
I have always been creative, even since i was young, always loving arts and crafts, painting, then i started taking pictures when i was at school......
What photographers influence your work? What photographers inspire you?
I am inspired by many different photographers, Joel Sternfield, Juergen Teller, Valerie Pllips, Wlliam Egleston, Szuki Rsaku, just to name a few....
There are so many people out there now calling themselves 'photographers', do you think photography as an art form has lost its appeal?
I think that with the digital age, more people have access to a medium that can capture a moment with little effort, no need for processing, scanning or spending hours in the dark room..... However there are still many photographers whose pictures still represent art in its purest form.
What one magazine would you love to photograph for?
I would have to say self service, a nice 40 page editorial would be quite self indulgent.....
What do you like do when not photographing and working?
I love yoga and spending time with my cat! Oh and travel, more and more travel......
What is your favourite shoot to date?
A shoot i did about 4 years ago in the blue mountains...... I still love those pictures!!
What three people do you dream to one day photograph?
That’s a hard one......
If you weren’t a photographer, what do you think you would be?
Naturopath or Yoga teacher
What emerging designers and photographers should the world be watching?
Too many to note.
