Living in a small town between Cologne and Amsterdam is 22-year-old photographer Gerrit Starczewski. His recent series of work named 'Dancing Shoes', showcases the shoes of some of the biggest names in music.
Gerrit first started taking photograph’s at a young age until he later started to publish his photographic stories in his own fanzine. He slowing launched himself into the world of event and music photography. Since then things have moved fast for Gerrit and he now photographs for magazine such as Rolling Stone, Musikexpress, Intro, H-Magazine and Festivalguide.
“To me it makes no difference whether I take a photo of a famous or of lessfamous person. No one is bigger, as the other. Even if this many stars ofthemselves mean. They are not any more a value than the person of thestreet. And the person of the street often has more radiation and confidencein the eyes, than the depressive artist.” - Gerrit Starczewski
