Runway to Runway 10/09/2009 In a few weeks is Air New Zealand Fashion Week - a week filled over our top designer collection and shows. Every year Air New Zealand presents to one emerging designer the Fashion Innovation Award - which puts every brand or designer competing to the test! The theme for this award is "Runway to Runway" - referring to the catwalk to the airport runway. This year nine designers have been chosen to create a iconic outfit which should be designed to be suitable for long plane flights but still fashion runway ready. The designer or brand who wins the award receives $10,000 worth of travel! But its up to everyone to vote - each brand or designer has made a short clip featuring their garment design. When you vote you also get the chance to win $5,000 worth of travel with Air New Zealand. A few of my favourite videos so far include Stolen Girlfriends Club and Twenty Seven Names.
